Military Invasion has been mentioned in article 3 letter (a) United Nations General Assembly resolution that invasion is an attack carried out by the armed forces from one country to the other country. Article 39 UN Charter states that the Security Council of the United Nations is authorized to maintain security if there is any aggression or threat that threatens the security of a country. Therefore, the United Nations needs to urge Russia and Ukraine as conflicting countries to issue a resolution. In addition to the United Nations, there is also the International Court of Justice as an international court to resolve the state’s conflict.
